Kevin Tanger
Location Manager
Kevin Tanger graduated from Shippensburg University in 1995 with a degree in criminal law. He began his career with L/B Water Service that same year and has been a loyal employee for more than 14 years. Kevin is highly respected in the water, sewer, storm water, and erosion control industry by customers and manufacturers. Kevin is presently the location manager of the Ebensburg facility, which services municipalities and contractors in Western Pennsylvania. Complete and total customer satisfaction is his highest priority.
John Brutz
Sales
John Brutz began his career in the waterworks industry in 1988. He operated and managed municipal water treatment plants and distribution systems for 19 years before joining L/B Water Service. He has also served as an instructor for Pennsylvania’s Department of Environmental Protection Small Water Systems Outreach Program since 1996, and has been a member of the Pennsylvania State Board for Certification of Sewage Treatment Plant and Waterworks Operators since 2001. John also holds a Class-A Master Waterworks Operators license.
Leonard Chattaway
Sales
Leonard Chattaway started in the waterworks industry in 1978 with a small regional distributor. In 1980, Leonard was made a Product Specialist with R.F. Schneider Pipe where he was responsible for the architectural engineering and industrial marketing of ACO Drain in the western half of Pennsylvania. In 1983, he was assigned an outside sales position in the waterworks sector while maintaining his overview of the ACO product line. After serving 28 years with Schneider Pipe and its subsequent owners as a municipal salesman, Leonard came to L/B Water Service in February 2008, where he is continuing to develop profitable business relationships through thoroughness, honesty, and the support of a great team!
Dick Cole
Sales
Dick Cole started in the waterworks industry in 1985 with R.F. Schneider Pipe and Supply. He held the position of Inventory Control and Inside Sales for one year and was then promoted to Location Manger. In 1995 Dick moved to outside sales to capture and grow the contractor business in the Pittsburgh area. Dick left R.F. Schneider Pipe and Supply / US Filter / National Waterworks in March of 2003 to take an outside sales position with L/B Water Service.
Russ Deemer
Inside Sales
Russ Deemer started his career in the waterworks industry in 1994 as a truck driver for R.F. Schneider Pipe and Supply. He spent several years as a driver while learning more about industry’s specific products and practices. Eventually he moved into a warehouse and customer service position while continually learning about products and improving relations with customers. In 2004, Russ became an inside sales person with H.D. Supply working primarily as an estimator on contractor projects. He was also involved in purchasing and inventory control. In July 2009, he began a new career with L/B Water Service in an inside
sales position.
Steve Kauffman
Sales
Steve Kauffman began his career in 1975 working for a plumbing, heating, industrial, and waterworks distributor. Throughout his career he worked in the warehouse, accounting department, and inside sales, holding the title of Supervisor of Sales and Service for 20 years. He began his new career with L/B Water Service in 2003. His core areas of strength involve his expansive product knowledge of water and sewer materials including specialty items.
Clint Kick
Sales
Clint Kick began his career in the water works industry in 2001 working in the warehouse pulling orders, checking in material, loading trucks, and customer service. He was promoted to an inside salesman in 2005 and has since developed many customer relationships.
Dave Sollars
Outside Sales (Ebensburg & Selinsgrove)
Dave Sollars began his career with L/B Water Service in 2003 as an inside sales person for five years. Dave specializes in working with municipal accounts and was recently promoted to outside sales for the Ebensburg and Selinsgrove locations. Dave is recognized in the industry for his proficiency with meters and AMR systems.
