LB Water Announces Change to Board of Directors
LB Water announces that Jim App will be stepping down as Chairman of the Board for LB Water and its family of brands.

Selinsgrove, PA – It is with great respect that LB Water announces that Jim App will be stepping down as Chairman of the Board for LB Water and its family of brands. Mr. App will continue to serve on the Board of Directors indefinitely.
As one of the company’s original founding fathers, Mr. App played a pivotal role in shaping LB Water into the organization it is today. His vision, leadership, and more than half a century of service have been invaluable to the company’s employee owners, vendor partners, and customers.
From its humble beginnings with only a handful of employees, Mr. App helped guide LB Water through decades of growth. Under his leadership, the company expanded to more than 260 employees and established 11 locations across four states. During this time, the organization also broadened its capabilities by developing additional lines of business to better serve a wide range of waterworks needs, including 540 Technologies and Stormwater Solution Source (S3).
Mr. App was also instrumental in leading LB Water through its transition to an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), creating an ownership culture that recognizes the company’s most valuable asset, its employees.
