LB Water Announces New Board Member in 2026

LB Water is pleased to announce a new appointment to its Board of Directors. The Board of Directors guides LB Water in its development and constitutes representatives of LB Water’s surrounding communities. Current members of the Board are James App, Chairman of the Board; Bill Everly, Sr.; Matthew Markunas; Mark Pulaski, CPA; Malena Moore Gittler; Tim Apple; and Walt VanNuys.
LB Water extends a sincere welcome to its newest Board Member, Bob McCormack.
When asked about the addition, James App responded, “It is my pleasure to welcome a new member to the Board of Directors for LB Water. Bob has an excellent background in the financial sector, and we look forward to his contributions and insights. He has been a valuable member of his local community, and will be a great help in LB Water’s mission as a premier distributor in the waterworks industry.”
Bob McCormack grew up in Reading, PA, and attended Alvernia University, where he attained his Bachelor's and MBA in Finance and Accounting. Bob furthered his education by graduating from the University of Virginia CBA Business School. He has been a resident of Lewisburg, PA, since 1996, where he lives with his wife, Theresa. He is the father of three adult children: Kelly, Katie, and Michael. Katie and Michael work with him at Murphy McCormack Capital Advisors.
Bob began his professional career at CoreStates Bank (now Wells Fargo) in commercial banking, where he also got his CPA license. Bob later joined SunBank as CEO, where he first got to know LB Water. In fact, he financed the original ESOP transaction. After selling SunBank, he saw the need to help family businesses with their succession planning needs and started his firm in 2005. He built a regional team, which serves the Mid-Atlantic.
Work is not his entire focus, though; he is also an adjunct professor at his Alma Mater, Alvernia University, teaching Corporate Finance, Money and Banking, and Managerial Economics. Bob is a trustee emeritus at Alvernia and served as head of the audit committee and finance committee. Bob loves spending time with his family, including traveling. His favorite location to travel is Ireland, where he has gone with his family seven times now. Besides his family, he spends much of his spare time with his two puppies: Maggie and Noah. He remains a competitive tennis player, continuing to play weekly with his college tennis partner.
Bob's interest in LB Water goes way back to the initial inception of the ESOP, and he's followed the company's growth, success, and culture over the years. He loves the culture of employee ownership and looks forward to contributing to the team.
