LB Water celebrates its Employee Owners!

LB Water hosted its 2023 Employee Appreciation Block Party on Saturday, October 7, 2023. More than 300 guests, including employee owners, spouses, and friends, were welcomed in Selinsgrove, PA!
The Employee Appreciation Block Party was held at LB Water’s new corporate center, The Founders Building. Construction of The Founders Building was completed in February 2023.
"The Block Party was successful beyond our imagination! My hope for the event was that everyone who attended made some lasting memories, and from what we can tell—that wish came true!" said Shawn Pulford, LB Water CEO. "Employee owners from all our locations and lines of business and their significant others came together for the event. We all loved the activities, food, and beverages. Most of all, we enjoyed getting to know each other. Seeing how happy and proud you all are to be working for LB Water was fantastic. A special thanks to the committee who organized the event. We can’t wait to do it again!"
Attendees toured The Founders Building and had the chance to meet with other employee owners from across LB Water, including the corporate location, all 10 locations, and the specialty lines of business. Guests enjoyed catered appetizers, followed by a catered barbequed meal. There was hardly a dull moment, with activities such as virtual golf, axe throwing, a cornhole tournament, and photobooth available throughout the event. The evening wrapped up with cover band, Cellar Sessions, taking the stage, playing favorites from the 60’s to current hits.

The 2023 Employee Appreciation Block Party offered the perfect opportunity to reflect on the growth of the company in the last seven years. LB Water celebrated the accomplishments of its employees, including expanding locations, establishing two new lines of business, growth in employment, and improvements in employee engagement.
“I feel bad for anyone that did not attend,” said another employee owner, “They missed a great time!”
